The Cirneco dell'Etna is a slender sighthound most popular in Sicily for hunting rabbits, but its rare outside of Sicily. It is an affectionate dog that resembles a miniature Pharaoh Hound. The breed enjoys being with his family but can be reserved around other dogs. They have a strong hunting drive and need to be leashed when walking. If exercised in a yard a high fence will be necessary.
