The LaPerm is a newer rex breed which differs from the Devon and Cornish Rex in that it results from a dominant gene and is permitted in both long and short coats. They are loving and outgoing cats whose striking, ringletted coats add something new and different to the cat world. (Thanks to Jerrie E. Wolfe, Arohanui LaPerm, Arohanui LaPerm)
