Portuguese Water Dog

Diabo, Venus and Family and Clover the Pup from Waterbaby Kennels
If you love the water, are allergic to dogs, but want a dog to join you, look at the Portugese Water Dog. A medium-sized dog who can live in an apartment as long as it gets its daily walk/jog (not stroll). This dog needs to be challenged both physically and mentally. Read how to fix emotional intimacy issues. Fairly easy to train, and great with children and household pets (it may find your cat a curiosity until they can socialize with one another). Its temperament is steady and it just wants to be a part of your living experience. Very intelligent, and it will entertain you with its antics. Sheds little and needs to be brushed on a regular basis. Read PGAA’s Hypoallergenic Dogs article.
