Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
Sporting Breed

The Girls” and Daisy Mae and Dinah from Greylock Glen Griffons
The Wirehaired Pointing Griffon’s outgoing personality makes it a fine family pet that is superb with children. They love to hunt and can point, flush and retrieve with equal skill. The WPG is an easily trained dog. They need a great amount of exercise, physical and mental, and will do better with an active and interested family. Socialize this dog right from the beginning and it will become a favorite companion. Better suited for the country life where they can run and swim. Brush a couple of time a week.

We STRONGLY recommend that you get your dog from a respectable breeder or rescue organization. Pet stores and Internet sellers may get their dogs from Puppy Mills that normally breed only for profit, not quality or concern for the puppy or its eventual owner.
If you would like help locating a breeder or rescue agency near you please E-Mail PGAA ( ita408@comcast.net), and let us know your city/state and the type of dog you are looking for. Do not assume that PGAA has qualified all of the breeders or rescues on this site. Do your own check of each breeder or rescue — be sure that you are comfortable with the organization before you buy, adopt or turn-over a dog.
